Our 11-mile sponsored walk!

The next phase of our fundraising endeavour’s sees some of our year-group participate on Saturday 16th March in a sponsored walk. Walk? I hear you say. Well, I assure you this isn’t any old walk to The Pyewipe for a cider!

The 11-mile (I repeat, 11 whole miles) route to Torksey Lock tasks our friends to embark on a treacherous journey along the River Witham. They will encounter the hard task of passing pubs and not stopping for a drink, possible collisions with cyclists and maybe one or two swans getting in their way. It is all in aid of raising money to support our final year show.

Not only will they be sacrificing their day-off to benefit all of us, but the group will also be embarrassing themselves on route just to make it a little more, dare I say, interesting and worth your sponsors; sweat bands, knee high socks and whistles will accessorize their walking attire to give 118 a run-for-their-money! The humorous 90’s costumes will reflect the show theme and emphasize how fun the evening itself will be.

So, if you would like to make their walk worthwhile and donate towards our final year show, a link to our PayPal account will be below. Every donation, big or small, is appreciated tremendously and we would like to thank-you so much for your help in supporting us.
